Scott Reynolds - Independent Candidate for Oregon Senate District 6

A Truly Independent Voice to Represent We the People!

UPDATE - JULY 30, 2010 - I HAVE WON THE INDEPENDENT PARTY NOMINATION AND WILL BE ON THE BALLOT FOR THE NOVEMBER ELECTION! I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
Hello there!  My name is Scott Reynolds, and I am running as an Independent for Oregon Senate District 6.  SD-6 consists of Springfield, Creswell, Coburg, Marcola, Pleasant Hill, Brownsville and other unincorporated areas of Lane and Linn Counties east of I-5.  Go to my "links" page and there is a link to a form where you can enter your address and find out which district you live in.
I appreciate you taking the time to come here and learn more about me, what I stand for and why I have made the choice to represent the People of Senate District 6.  On the top of this page, there are links to where I stand on some important issues, a form where you can contact me and why I am running for office.
You may have seen me on the news recently, as I am one of the organizers of the group who opposed the renaming of Beltline Highway.  Although the outcome of these efforts did not result in stopping the name change, I feel the effort that I and my two good friends, Kevin Prociw and Mark Callahan provide clear evidence that I will be tenacious in representing We the People regardless of the odds, obstacles and challenges that come my way.
To share a little bit more about me, I am married to my lovely wife Jennifer, and we have 4 children.  I am employed full-time in the social services field, and I consider it a privilege to be able to help people rebuild their lives for a living.  I am a proud resident of Springfield and have lived here since 2001.
